Default Yahoo has just Redesigned it's Main Page - a few minutes AGO

After refreshing while doing a search about 6:pm - suddenly a New design appeared - completely diffferent from the page just left.

with a light blue and tan design motif and less graphics and links

None at all. yahoo is still holding two separate cache versions of my site (one old the other older).

I am still getting the old screen. Nothing like what is in the flash demo.

Do I have to click on something to customize it? I know there was a link to upgrade the MyYahoo pages ... so I am thinking there might be one for the Yahoo portal too. I just can't find it.

Also, here is an explanation of the Live Testing at Yahoo! Search

Yeah, I noticed that too! The story's been doing the rounds on a few mailing lists I subscribe to.. there's considerable interest in the fact that Yahoo! seem to be dropping a lot of their tables in favour of div elements and controlling the formatting with an inline CSS stylesheet.

Default It won't stick

I agree with Ronnie, it won't stick... If Yahoo goes back to its directory structure homepage of 1998/ 1999 you can say they have learnt something BACK. Otherwise this tinkering is of no practical use to them or to anybody.

Well hells-bells whaddyaknow! Thanx Max. That was easy.

Why is it that they have it hidden like that? Why not put the link on the original homepage to begin with?

Default Same wine

Same wine in the same bottle with the same label in the same design in a differnt font. Yahoo needs much more to actually win in Search Engine Wars...
