Default Yahoo/MSN Blacklist??

In another forum post, there was a preview of the new MSN search engine. When I checked for a few of my keyword phrases, I did exceptionally well. Today, just for fun I hopped over to MSN and saw "new MSN search" listed on their site, so I tried a few phrases and wasn't listed. I then tried my domain name and was told it didn't exist.

I then jumped over to Yahoo and tried my domain name. Most of my links show up, but not my domain. Strange, I was there a couple of weeks ago, not in a good spot, but there.

My domain appears to be blacklisted for some reason..anyone else with this problem?

I might note that I haven't submitted to search engines in a long time, so it can't be spam. I don't use Web Position Gold or other TOS prohibited software. My site still ranks very high in Google, so it shouldn't be web page spam. I'm just stumped.

I filled out the search feedback form, but who knows if that will actually do anything. Looking for any advice? (no, I still haven't submitted to the Yahoo Dirctory)

I am not experiencing it myself, but I have seen pages disappear on one site from Yahoo once. Then they reappeared a few days later. This may be similar situation for you.

There has been a lot of movement in the results on Yahoo for the past couple of days. Update??? Plus the fact that the contract for Google supplied results is about to expire (I think the end of this month). Yahoo will use those results from time to time ... but that is coming to an end.

I would keep a close eye on it over the next couple of days, and if you have not returned then I would start to get a little worried. Shoot a letter to Yahoo if that is the case (I know you have done nothing wrong...you have been around here for quite a while for me to know that).

If no response from Yahoo, search Tim Mayer out on the other forums and try to ask him directly. He goes by the name of Slurp, Tim (at WMW I think) YahooTim, and over at SEW TheOtherTim (Tim was taken). He may not have a direct answer for you, but it will maybe get it looked into with the engineers at Yahoo. I am thinking that they are very busy right about now -- moreso than they were before.
