Welcome to the forums, Kysersosai.

Are you trying to send/receive Yahoo! email through Outlook or are you trying to send/receive your Outlook emails (pop emails) from your Yahoo! email account?

I haven't done that since they started charging for it. I'm not sure how it would be done now. Good luck!

You cannot use Outlook or any other email agent to receive Yahoo Mail. Yahoo Mail is not a POP3 account.

You can however forward your POP3 account to your Yahoo Mail. This has nothing to do with Outlook. Yahoo Mail acts as a mail agent to download email from your mail server.

It is possible however that there may be a utility to download your Yahoo Mail to your desktop and into a program like Outlook. I do know that there are two of these utilities for Hotmail that can do just exactly that. But I have not come across one for Yahoo Mail yet.

If you have a yahoo.com account then you can only download it if you are willing to pay for it ... thankfully for those of us living outside the .com area yahoo still allows us to download our emails to our outlook for free.

They do have a help page that tells you exactly how to download into outlook. If you click on mail options in the right hand corner and then click on pop access and forwarding you will be given the instructions on how to set it up for downloading to your outlook.

Hope this helps
