Default getting listed

hello, im sure im asking a question that gets asked daily, but can anyone give me any advice on getting listed on yahoo for free. I have submitted my site
www.hallgate-timber.co.uk
to yahoo through its free inclusion service monthly for the past 5 months with no success. I know it would be best to pay for site match but the owner of the company doesn't like to pay for internet advertising. any help would be appreciated.

Mark,
I looked hallgate-timber in YAHOO and 3 of your site pages are at the top of 111 returns.

Why do you think you are not listed in YAHOO?

Mark,

Using those automatic checkers that tag the SEs consuming bandwidth is an expressed NO-NO by GOOGLE and can end you up BANNED!

I would deffinitely not use any such tool.

You would be much better of focusing on top keywords, content and high ranking directory listings.

I doubt that it will get you banned Ken. It is coming from another site than your own, and if that were the case, it would be easy for your competitors to put unfavorable light on you. I doubt that will ever happen.

And if you say the word G**gle again in the Yahoo forum, you will be banned! ;0)
