Welcome to the forums, aharis.

I'm actually surprised that you say that you're doing well in Google but not well in Yahoo!. It's usually the other way around.

Anyhow, you don't have to pay for SiteMatch in order to do well in Yahoo!. I would actually stay away from it, there's no need to pay for it to get a good Yahoo! ranking.

If your site is fairly new, then I would wait a little bit longer because Yahoo! is behind Google in updating their SERPs. If you're not in the Yahoo! Directory, then you might consider getting a listing.

Yahoo! also really really loves keyword text links to your site, and increasing that internally on your site (e.g., make sure your internal navigation includes accurate keyword text links to your other pages) will help.

Thanks for the tip bhartzer ... that what I think I do neeed to work on ... the text links on my site as for Google, personally it entirely depends on the # and quality of inbound links u can get ...besdies as u said that Google updates its indexes much more faster ... I have observed my pages getting indexed within a week or so ...

Default Yahoo Ranking?

Bhartzer

I have the same situation as aharis with Google and Yahoo on one of my sites and would deeply appreciate any advice you would be willing to give.

It is http://www.vegas4sale.net .

I agree with you on the Site Match issue. My opinion is registered at http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=21853

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

-Mack
