Default Got Dropped From Yahoo

Hello All,

Until last week, my site http://i-artz.com was No. 1 for about 3 months for "international gallery of arts" key phrase on Yahoo!. Few days ago, I was dropped to No. 15. Today I couldn't locate my site in the first 10 pages for the same key phrase.

My other key phrases "international gallery of arts and artisans" and "gallery of arts and artisans" still enjoy No. 1 spot respectively.

My curious self just wants to know if Yahoo! is fooling around with their algorithm and if anyone else is experiencing a dramatic change as well :-).

I appreciate any insight.

I know what you mean. Last prior to last week I was in the 1st position for the key phrase home equity lanes and than when I would click on my site, it would go to one of my other sites. Right website cached with the wrong URL destination. Had worked just find prior from the Yahoo search. Than a few days later. GONE! No longer comes up when I submit my URL: www.a1-home-equity-lanes.com. Beats me! On Google I have a pagerank but not in the index??

BIIIIIIIIG changes at YAHOO lately, Where is that YAHOO forum?

1. What about that new speed?
2. What about beating GOOGLE HANDS DOWN in indexing speed?
3. What about listing .com's without the $299 fee - even before GOOGLE does?
4. What does it take to get dropped from YAHOO?
5. WHAT DO THOSE NEW ALGS LOOK LIKE OVER THERE?

Head's - Up - It's here!

Yes, it has changed - faster and more accurate than anything I have ever seen (going on 8 years of web development) - Definitely an UFO sighting!

Believe me, it's here, some hydrogen breathing, fire spitting monster engine in that sydering UFO now - Completely retrofitted - Just my experience and opinion.

What is that over there? It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's SuperMSN! --- OHHHHH, here we go, buckle up in and down, we're gonna be tossed around again!

Same thing happened to my webiste today.
It totally dissapeared from SERPs.
But most of the other sites are still sitting at the same spot. The ones that didn't pay to get included.
So maybe it's the update.

Default UPDATE: Got Dropped From Yahoo

All,

It's me again - Curious George :-).

The update is that I found the site back at No. 10 spot tonight. However, they are still displaying the cached image of the featured artwork from 3 weeks ago - weird isn't it :-). They need to do better than that in order to give Google a run for their IPO :-).

Thanks for sharing your views. I will keep you posted.

Default I had this happen to me too

George-

Hello. I got clobbered by Yahoo two weeks ago. (See my post from May 31 - "I disappeared from Yahoo") I still have not recovered. My sales are way down because of this.

One interesting thing has happened, though. When my keyword phrase is put inside of quotation makes, I am ranked highly again...although there are 325,000 LESS searches than if the keywords are typed in normally, without the quoataion marks.

I am clueless. This is really frustrating.

Good luck on a total recovery for your site.

All my best,
Cade
