A few of the sites I webmaster have got into Yahoo's web listings recently but they are all doing much better in 'search All the Web' rather than 'UK sites only' - sometimes as extreme as position 11 in 'All the Web' & position 360 in 'UK sites only'. All the sites are .com but hosted and registered in the UK.
I have been advised to email Yahoo requesting they amend their records but I don't find anywhere I can email for normal free to submit web results (I've found emails for the directory & for paid listings only). Can anyone help me what to do? If it is to do with the addresses being .com - is it worthwhile submitting the .co.uk version to Yahoo? - even though it is exactly the same as the .com homepage because the URL is pointed to the homepage of the .com site. Thanks everyone. |
