Default Yahoo Results - Help

I have a brand new URL as of the end of January this year. It is not fairing well at all in Yahoo or Google. The site ranked the end of last month in Yahoo, which would have been two months from initial submission, but has all of a sudden jumped off a cliff. I have read the 'Sandbox Theory' for Google, but am wondering if something similar isn't going on in Yahoo.

The web site is fully optimized with relevant keywords in relation to copy. There are no illegal or questionable optimization practices on the site. Can anyone provide an answer as to why the site would begin to rank then disappear completely? Is it as simple as Yahoo experimenting with their algorithm?

One thing to keep in mind, is that all of the optomizing in the world wont help your site, unless you have quality anchor, keyword links into your site. Im not sure if this really applies to you, but this would definately be a key thing to work on.
