Shame you have not been around very long to actually know much about history, and I feel no compelling need to actually explain it to you. But here is something to research. It did not go to DP until certain people were banned from or totally discredited in other forums and felt the need to attack the people they felt were responsible for those bans.

And if stating facts and being able to back them up with something more than calculations means I piss some people off, so be it. I have a whole lot of PM's saying it did the exact opposite for them.

AVC: I don't see anyone here but me and some guy posting unsubstantiated data in regards to our conversation. No gang, just you proving your mettle on your own. I figure the admins will clean up your insults rather nicely at some point, or not.

Here is a clue: look in the far upper right side of one of my posts. See the Joined: 2003 bit? As I said, unsubstantiated, but this is no surprise really. As to getting rep, giving factual answers and helping people generally works for most people. You should try it sometime. Only you seem to have some hangup in that department. Maybe it is because you care so much about it that it shows thru?

Wow, now I am linked to a late 60's mega hit TV series. COOL.

You failed to here think.

A threat is a threat regardless of whether or not it is acted on. To spell it out for you, there are those whose voices you cannot still no matter how much red rep you give them.

The thing that William and Company fail to grasp is the fact that the forum administrators can see the patterns of who is abusing the reputation system positive or negative here and that it condemns their tactics and proves everything I say here.

You are not the first to say it either. In fact deepsand and kgun started a thread about it in which quite a lot of people told them they were being childish, and a thread in which admin and mods alike were all present in.

It is well known that admins at least, and maybe mods can see reputation. Failure to grasp? Hardly. To be bluntly honest, I don't have the foggiest, nor do I even care. What was yours? rep rank 2? I think seeing as you have been red repping me as much as you can, as has kgun, we should be on a relatively even ratio of gains. Somehow that does not seem to be the case tho does it?

Fun was when Minstrel got so desperate in trying to get his forum going that he brought Anthony in as an admin.

Anthony made all the other members and admin. So mad that everyone started fighting and it finally ended the whole forum.

Now he’s changed his name but the post are the same lame stupid post.

This is getting ridiculous!

A bunch of supposed adults, trying to stir up sh*t, by bringing up old beefs, from other forums, with a healthy splatter of name-calling salted throughout! All over a bunch of meaningless red or green pixels!

AVC, you made a big deal out of William's rep score today, versus three months ago. Well, for what little it means, I've been a member since June of this year...that's ONE MONTH! And my rep score is 4! Why? Because I've tried to make posts that contribute something, and even when I have a disagreement with someone, I can do so in a civil manner. You want some green pixels? Try acting like a friggin' adult! It couldn't hurt!

Can the respected Admins consider to end all this online meaning less fighting via simply moderating posts and giving warnings, infractions and bans to users/posts where they think it is essential?

Admins/moderators should have all the power to judge what is right and whats wrong. Otherwise, people will fight personal Rep Wars instead of doing other meaningful things.
