Default Featured Site

How does a site become a featured site? I'm talking about the one seen in the homepage.

THanks in advance!

Hey there,

Thanks for asking! This is a pretty common question.

There are two main ways that we pick the featured sites on Page One and in the newsletter everyday.

The first would be by winning a contest. We almost always promise to feature our contest winner's site for a day (such as today's featured site, by G[dot]com)

The second and more common way is by picking a site that's up for review. We look at sites that normally have had less than five reviews already. We try to give the featured sites variety by choosing either professionally designed sites or sites that are created by web design "newbies." We rarely feature sites that are up for re-review or sites that have already been featured in the past because we want to give everyone a fair chance at getting reviews.

And regardless of whether or not your site is featured on WebProWorld, we do ask that you reciprocate any reviews you receive - just to be nice :)

Hope that helps!
