When I get a Private Message I can't seem to reply. I hit the Reply button, but my message ends up in the Outbox. How do I get it from the Outbox to the Sentbox?

The message will go to your Outbox & stay there until the recipient opens it, then it goes into your Sent box. You can also tell if your messages have been read yet by going to your Outbox...if its there it hasnt been read yet.
