Hi,
I'm Chad, and work in IT for iEntry which oversees WebProWorld. Can you e-mail me your old e-mail address with your new e-mail address to support[at]ientry.com (replacing [at] with @) with the Subject line of "WebProNews Address Change", I will gladly change your e-mail in our database.
Thanks.
Chad Sweely

Re: how do i get te daily emailers again?
All of my iEntry/WPW related e-letters, with the exception of the forum discussion subscriptions, ceased as of 21 FEB!
What's happening?

I suggest you email Chad, as above and ask him to check your subscription ...
Cheers, MJ

Thanks for your prompt suggestion. And, please forgive my tardy acknowledgement of such; it's been an "alligator" vs "drain the swamp" time here for a while, with the 'gators winning, and no sign of help on the way.
Did you sprinkle some magic pixie dust about? Yesterday, for no apparent reason, 3 of my subscriptions sprang back to life! In light of that, I'll give it a few more days to see if the rest reappear as well, before bothering Chad.
Enjoy.

Pixie Dust, yes! I am all about Pixie Dust ... or whatever makes you believe. Belief is the thing.

As of today, more of my subscriptions, including WPW came back to life.
I'm a believer. You'll find milk & cookies by the doorway.

On that we wholeheartedly concur; but, they must be made with real butter to be truly exquisite.

Hmmm. Would that not depend on the "dish?"

Re: how do i get te daily emailers again?
It would if we were being picky here, but we were just expressing an appreciation for butter instead of lard in cookies, weren't we? And I was generalizing from there.
So, where would *you* *not* want butter for the 'fat' in a recipe?
Yes, there are some recipes where butter would not be welcome ... but I can't think of one at the moment ...
Now, there are certain dishes where one would prefer the base be, let's say, olive oil ... but then to add a couple of dollops of butter to that would probably, in most cases, improve the dish. Or so I see it ...

Well, as a personal preference, born perhaps of childhood experiences, I'd choose lard for pie dough. I like a pie dough that is thick, moist and chewy, the kind that, as my grandmothers would say, "sticks to your ribs," as opposed to a light, flakey crust. Ditto for pot pie dough; butter just doesn't hold up to the boiling, resulting in a dough that disintegrates during the cooking.
