Hi all

With these new changes, it is now possible to uplaod your own avator. I have just learned this (hence the new mug).

I was thinking is it worth Admin updating the guidelines in both the introduction and member photos forum? The current guidelines refer to the old forum and are also 5 years old!

i THINK you have to be modded or an admin to actually change your avatar.... or at least that's what a couple of folks around here discovered.

if this is wrong, by all means, let me know.

Yeah that would be a bit hard for me to comment.

Aha I have an answer (thanx wyspa03 BTW)

Apparently all members can do is change their profile picture, not the avator.

I was misled. Apologies.

(It was not an experiment - my avatar disappeared for no reason recently - round about the time the new version of the forums came online I think...?)

I give up - I can change my profile picture but not my avatar (I can only delete this) as far as I can tell...
