Default "Bars of Death" on Forum Index

Hi all

I am liking the forum changes so far, but one thing I would pick up on: There are horizontal scroll bars on the Forum Index page. Not just a bit, the forum list seems to be out by about 300 pixels.

The top of the page is fine, but the middle and bottom are causing those horrid scroll bars, making the page a nightmare to read.

i THINK the scrolling is caused by the top 5 stats drop down at the bottom... or at least it is for me. if you collapse that, it should take care of the scrolling... at least it did for me.

actually, you can collapse all of those menus at the bottom. if you are using a smaller resolution on your monitor, having any of them open will probably cause the scrolling issue.

Not guilty of small resolution - 1280 x 1024 is considered modest nowadays

It probably is the stat bar, but the middle is also out. The top bar (logo adverts etc) are fine but once scrolling, the top stops and the middle and bottom sections continue.

Hope this helps.

Hmmm... at 1680 x 1050, it's all good. Time for an upgade, Deb.

Brian.

Get off! Yours is a cinema screen BM. 1280 x1024 still big considering the average is now 1024 x 768

Or by my stats anyway before Webnauts demands hard evidence.

22" Widescreen on one side, 20" widescreen on the other. I like 'em.

And it probably looks at home in your mansion. but for the less fortunate of us that operate from a glorified shed with plasterboard, it fits just about snugly.
