I just noticed that apparently WPW has
35488 members who have made 66458 posts which roughly translates as every member must of made two posts. Now I know this isn't right as some of us are approaching quadruple figures so I wonder how many join but never post.

I'm of the opinion that mikmik is correct about labrynth_of_fire being correct.

But that's only my opinion... I could be wrong.

I've been reading this thread avidly for the past.. oh erm.. minute at least, and I think that minstrel may well have a point here... but then again I have been wrong in the past!

I must admit that I feel Paul is very correct, that Minstrel has a good point, regarding Mr. Mikmik's affirmative position, on Labyrynth of Fire's stated agreement on Carbonize's supposition!

And... You too Jurgen!

labrynth_of_fire could be right (or wrong), depending on which number he thinks is very high? My vote is on "wrong".

As this is neither a qualitative nor quantitative arguement mikmik is also either right or wrong. Again, I vote "wrong".

minstrel is also right in as much as:-

minstrel wrote:

"I could be wrong"

In addition - based on todays stats (above) - I beleive that Jurgen is right about carbonize being right. And:

paulhiles wrote:

There speaks/writes a man desperately in need of a caffeine fix.

Rocky, on the other hand wrote:

I guessing you are running for office, eh Rocky?

Then again, I could be wrong too?

I think Carbonize is right in stating that it isn't right. But I am not sure if the rest of you are right in agreeing that carbonize isn't right. Or are you saying he is right?

I am soo confused...

I think I need a nap. Wake me when you figure this out.

Well no actually I'm not pete! But... the Democratic Caucus is to be held here in North Dakota in the next two days, and we have Presidential hopefuls coming out of the woodwork. (In fact I had to listen 5 times, already today, to how one them watched the Superbowl in Fargo,ND... Like I should truly give a moment's consideration to where he watched the game!) Anyway, all this talk of politics has I guess, put me in the zone! ~~LMAO~~

Excellent call pete! Loved it...

Default Who is 'right"

I have always been an arrogant mongrel, I am always right (the only time I have ever been accused of being wrong was when the question was mis-represented - or I answered the question while ignoring the known fact - or I was 'Tripping')

Why didnt you simply ask me, you could have avoided all the above confusion.

Default I feel another migraine coming on

Wow, with so much confusion in this thread, I feel another migraine coming on... :-P

In regards to carbonize's original post, we are a new forum and we post our stats to show that we are growing. Even with less activity from some members, WebProWorld's growth is so high that the forum activity is there. For that, we are grateful.

WebProWorld is a different kind of forum and we try to be different. Maybe people aren't used to that. Or maybe a large portion of our members just aren't used to forums. A lot of them are used to e-business newsletters. They like to sit back and read the discussions and therefore need to be coaxed more into actual participation. That does not make them any less valuable as they are still WebProWorld subscribers.

We are currently working on a number of outreach tactics to keep these people involved and to attract interest back to WebProWorld and maintain it over time. All WebProWorld members (not just MVPs and Mods) can help out by making newbies feel welcome. Try to take some time to reply to WebPro Newbie posts or take a few minutes to say hello in the Introductions forum. Every little bit counts!

I'm moving this thread to the Suggestions and Comments forum, and any other feedback you have would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Brittany

Default Some just want to read

Just coz thy don't write, doesn't mean they aren't participating. Many times they just need to get info and the stuff that's already on here is really good. There's just so much to read and can take days. But once they feel like this is home then they will gradually warm up to us and start to share...

Once we hook em then we grill em... Kidding :)

I'm inclined to agree here with Patrick, about the validity of walt's (bubbasmurf) and Brit's uh, stuff.

I say that Tubby is speaking for me as well, but the most profound post was ghstdrgns':
