PMs are being tempremental again

Hi

Sorry to sound like a stuck record (again!) but I have sent out a number of PMs and they just stick in my OutBox going nowhere fast.

Even when the person I am sending to is online, it still doesn't send.

One example was a PM that I had sent to one of the mods 10 days ago and I finally gave up and deleted it this afternoon.

I adore this site (2nd home and all that) and appreciate you are making a lot of changes, but please, please, let this minor irritation be one of the changes that you make.

i asked mike about that before an dhe indicated the PM stays in your outbox until the recipient opens it, but i was sent...

I hear what you're saying Chris, but I was trying to send a PM to a moderator who goes online almost on a daily basis and after 10 days the message still hadn't been sent.

Sadly this isn't the first time it has happened.

Being online does not mean they have checked their PM box.

If the recipient has not actuall gone into their PM box the message will show as sitting in your outbound box until they do.

Oh I see.

So the key is check your PM on a regular basis. Naughty Mods not doing that :)

I was unclear on that fact so thanks for explaining it Mike.
