I have found that for the replies that I have made on this forum, each time I have hit reply (I thought) and then typed my message, I get a message saying I need to enter a title for a new topic.

This is because I keep hitting the "post new topic" button at the bottom of the text box when I'm finished.

I am very experienced with forums so I cannot attribute this to my being new to message boards.

I would recommend moving the "post new topic" button from the BOTTOM of a thread and having only the reply button.

I doubt too many people are reading a thread and then at the bottom starting a new topic without first going back to the main forum section.

Just my two cents to make this a better place!

I don't think the system could be easier than typing a reply and then pressing submit, how else can you preview if you adding a URL? Nothing worse than posting a link that is down!

The "Post new topic" at the bottom of each page is sort of funny and has caused a lot of single post topics here. I'd agree... if you're reading a topic, then why would you want to start a whole new one from there without going back up and posting it to the forum?
