Default Can't reply to 'Top Post'

I can't respond to incrediblehelp's post at http://webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=61185. The reply button just links to Page One and so do all of the other buttons on that page, eek!

I want to tell him his page has two heads (again!) and 791 errors and that's why I think MSN don't like his page.

Just an observation but a lot of things about this site don't seem to be working very well these days. What happened to notification emails for instance?

A few minutes later:

OK, I got in to reply but from another link. Something wrong from Page One.

Nearly 20hrs later, this problem still exists!

Perhaps I haven't made myself clear.

From Page One, if I click on 'No Results in MSN' or 'Read Replies' in the top post by incrediblehelp the link takes me to the post but ALL of the links on that page take me back to Page One. If I go in that way I cannot post or send a PM or anything relating to the post. I suspect that's why incrediblehelp has had several PMs.

Very strange indeed, I assume there was some sort of mix up on the page on link to the post? I can reply within the thread just fine....

I'll throw something heavy at Chris next time he gets in range.

Sorry for the mix up (whatever it was).

Thanks for your response Mike but it's happening again with the Top Post on index.php. Click on 'Fresh Dynamic Content Boosting SERPs', then try responding. All you get is page one again.

Well, I'm clicking in from both links (title and 'reply to post') but I'm not able to reproduce the error (tried IE and FFox), my test posts go thru fine...

Anybody else getting this same problem?

Thanks Mike but it's still happening for me. It's not a major problem, there are other ways in. Interestingly, if I go in that way all of the poster's internal links on that page; profile, private, email... all link back to Page One.

For instance, today (Sat) doctordelboy's PROFILE link (http://webproworld.com/profile.php?m...fe7527c9dca9c7) takes me to Page One even if I paste the link into a new tab or window in FF. The same happens even if I have wiped my history and cache. Presumably, the link is not valid, so a redirect to index.php happens.

If I go to the same post via any other link the PROFILE link is just http://www.webproworld.com/profile.p...ofile&u=114510

Am I the only one? If so, weird!

Yeah that's really strange... especially since I can't make it happen here at work on either box (windows/Linux) - ditto at home...

So 3 boxes, 2 operating systems, 5 browsers and 3 email programs basically...

I can't repeat it. If anybody else is having a similar problem please let me know... Kinda stumped on this one. Almost sounds like some crazy session variable problem or an evil cookie... but you said you cleared all that, so I dunno.

The strangeness has now gone.

As no one else seemed to experience the same phenomena, it must be something to do with my beloved machine <spank!>. Many thanks for your time and sorry for any inconvenience.

Cheers,
Tim
