Why does my "Submit" do Preview?
Does anyone else hit submit, get a preview of their post, then submit again to get a preview, then submit again and again before it finally "Posts"? Am I crazy? Well, yes... but I am hitting "Submit" and it is previewing and not saving my message up to as many as 5 times (although usually only 1 or 2, but occassionally it works as it should.)
Is this a FireFox issue? Is it just me? Did they get tired of me editing when I started out and flip a switch to make sure I see what I'm doing before I do it?
I'd like to hear some guesses. They don't have to be truthful, and go ahead and take a stab. I'm thick skinned enough to take anything you can throw my way.
Brian.

The right guy to ask would be cbp lol I've never known anyone hit the submission button so many times.
I run Firefox and Windows, I've even got 2 Hardrives in the same PC, and yes I've noticed it happen, I have always put it down to site traffic.

I get the issue as well. I'm running Firefox 1.0.4. I just stop submitting for a few seconds, do something else, then come back and it works. I think its a server traffic issue.

After extensive discussions, we've decided you're all neurotic, dysfunctional loons.

I figured it out.
It is a configuration setting to prevent spam. I figured that out when I installed phpBB on a server today for the first time. I'm just posting too fast. I'll have to start typing slower.

That has been happening to my posts for several weeks now. And of course - I too thought it was "just me".

weird...
And I thought it was just me LOL
I have the same problem and thought that it was just server traffic... I did try something else and it seems to work...
When done posting double left click the submit button, this so far has worked 90% for me ;) hope that helps

Re: weird...
I have had the same problem, if you want to call it that. Never knew why I had to hit it once and wait 5 seconds and than hit again to send it.

Here's another "me too". Doesn't happen all the time, maybe half the time. I'm on XP SP2 and IE. There's a thread here " Anyone Who is experiencing problems with WebProWorld" and I posted it there. http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?p=230071
