Default Firefox compatability?

This is just a general nitpick really.

While I have been fairly quiet up to now on the forums, I have been lurking and reading the newsletters for quite some time and I'm generally fairly impressed with WebProWorld. I've picked up a lot of hints and tips and applied them with varying success, generally to the betterment of my site.

I do have a niggle though.

Why is it that the WebProWorld forums are not properly viewable in Mozilla Firefox?

When I use Firefox, the top banner and top toolbar (edit profile, link to us and so on) is nothing but a green and white bar. In IE, it looks fine. Has something happened to the site or is this intended to be the case?

cheers,

Alan

I'm currently using Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 and every thing appears to be fine for me...

...what version of firefox are you using?

Firefox 1.0.3 and windows xp pro sp2

It looks fine on my end also. Do you have any themes or extensions for firefox that may be causing it?

Are you using any type of AdBlocker in Firefox?

Could you take a screen shot so we can see what we're up against?

Default Firefox - UK OK

Dear Geordie,

what's up like wi Firefox.

It's working fine down here in Kent.

Now you mention it, I'll take a look in IE. But Firefox is my preference. I have noticed my blog looks entirely different when I switch to IE.

I use firefox and it is a bit offputting, I have a relativally fast connection (512K) but am in Au so it takes a second or two to load

in that time the menu bar on the left shows over the full page as shown in the image below.

after it loads the page then re-aligns itself and looks fine.

perhaps some width control images might help?

If the above image has gone its because I did some house cleaning.

The image shows that the page is still loading. What does it look like when loading is complete?

I use Firefox and the site goes through that "stage", but then it fixes itself when completely loaded.

As explained it looks fine, or at least as I expect it would. which is close to identical with IE

What is annoying (and its just that, nothing more) is that while loading you just have this massive Nav Bar across the page.

The first few times I loaded the forums I thought "What the?" thinking the forums were broken. not a good first impression.

Patience paid dividends in the end and I think I have found a great resource :) I hope to be around for a while

Ahhh. I re-read your post and see where you explained it was just temporary.

I'm going to stand in the corner now.
