Does forum rules apply for advertisments?

I know that some of you can hate me for this, but I'll take the risk. I love this place and I'm concerned about this. I've broken the rules myself, but who can say that he is perfect?
Recently I see more and more sigs breaking the forum rules, but when I see the forum itself doing this I just cannot keep quiet... Well this is not a gambling site but it's promoting gambling affiliate program for webmasters. Does this mean that I can sig up with yourowncasino site?

I and probably every other in the world of www get e-mails everyday from Casino's who have added my site and would I reciprocate. It is all a question of personal choice, but to answer your question, if this post was that bad, it would have been pulled by now!
