How big can a Message be before the Browser Crashes?
I've learned not to use Preview before submitting my messages, because if I use it after writing a message long enough to explain something properly, my message gets tossed in the bitbucket before I can Submit it. I just now proved to myself that by clicking Submit instead of Preview, I can get my message posted even though IE crashes.
To be sure, this isn't the first message board I've seen crash a browser. I gave up on Netscape and related browsers some years ago because they occasionally couldn't cope with me clicking the Post button in Delphi and About forums.
But at least I could select and copy the message I had composed before clicking Post, re-open the browser, and paste it in for a second attempt. In WebProWorld message boards, clicking Submit not only crashes IE, it also empties my clipboard. Now, that's obnoxious!
I've noticed that if I keep my message too short to really explain anything, the browser doesn't crash when I Submit. So I'd like to know what the limit is.
I don't dare Preview this message...
