Happy Birthday
Can't believe it's been a whole year! I can remember your excitement at having 300 members. You deserve every accolade. My only problem is that I think "oh, I'll just drop in for a few minutes to see what's going on" and an hour later I'm still immersed in the on-line world in all it's vibrancy and energy. Happy Birthday for sure WebProWorld!

I've lots of favourable things to say, but most of the words have already been taken out of my mouth!
Let me therefore simply add that joining and participating in WPW has been one of the best moves I've made since I first created my own website some four years ago. Along the way, I've kept going through learning curves, but in the past half dozen months I've graduated!
I certainly don't mean I know it all, but, without question, I've by now gained an understanding that makes me no longer feel like a beginner. And it's all because there's so much invaluable information sharing from so many thoroughly knowledgable and experienced mentors.
Regularly checking in with WPW has become one of my good habits!
Congrats to Brittany et al -- and thanks a thousand to everyone for making all my visits so worthwhile.

Good Resource
I like Web Pro because it is a good source for exchange of ideas. No matter what the challenge, someone has either "press through" and can help or offers encouragement.
The moderators have been responsive when I had a concern and followed up with direct e-mail contact. I have referred friends to this site and intend to continue.

There is another Thread to post these..
Though everyone posted here are of their own experience and their praise, there is another thread posted in these forum for this kind of postings at:
http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic...017&highlight=
Now it is upto Birttany to either move these entire postings or merge this thread with the one intented for these purposes as above.
Oh, I do spell this only after posting thrice in this thread!

Wow, thanks, everyone! It's great to hear that you guys are enjoying the forums this much!
In regards to the forums loading slow, we've been having server problems lately. We just switched to a new server so things should be much faster now. Hope that helps!

It hasn't - it's only been nine months! Feels like much longer, though, doesn't it?
I can't wait until WebProWorld's one year birthday... and the years to come...

That's called lightening strike!
Brittany's flashing speed:
"Moved and merged :) "
Wow, I am moved by this quick merger, :)
It is indeed a quickest Move & Merge!! Mmmm.., the posts I said. Thanks a trillion, again for the fast moves.
If an award is proposed for the Active member in the team, now doubt - and quite naturally - it goes to you! - Brittany!
If an award is instituted for the Best writers/posts, then it must be for the Tooooooooooo brilliant person in this forum.:)
If an award is given for the worst writer - difficult to pronounce by name and the posts Hey there, I stand tall among others; (yes, after seeing the silly postings with slippery answers, I still find am yet to learn!, learn a lot). LOL:)

What I like about you - ALL!
An entire year has passed...Wow, where did it go??
There are a number of things I really appreciate.
In random order here they are:
No one makes you feel like a dummy for asking what would be considered a "simple" question by some.
When on the rare occassion someone gets out of line or crosses the line into mean-spiritedness there are several members that shut him done and get the topic back on track.
My questions have always been replied to thoughtfully. People actually take the time to read the posts in their entirety before commenting.
The sense of humor that some bring to the table along with their expertise is very much appreciated.
I enjoy being in a place where I can give back. We all have different backgrounds and experiences and can assist each other because of our diversity.
I have made friends here that value my opinion (and I, theirs) and that means the world to me.
Thanks to the WPW moderators, the members, the MVP's and everyone involved in making my time here memorable and enjoyable. I can learn more here than I ever did in a classroom environment.

This forum is really good. :P first time i got here was when i was about to make a homepage for a schoolproject. That were the 1st time i created a webpage, but now I've created a greater number of pages... And my skills have made a jump from 5 to 50 in two months, mostly because of you guys. And now i want to link you with a banner at the page I'm creating at the moment. So I'm wondering if there is any 88x31 buttons i can use. paese respond if you know.

Done, the link to WPW
Paul,
I already copied and pasted the link to WPW, with a small addition - "I am a proud member of" included in the script. Is it okay ?
