Hi David,

what exactly is it that you need to know about "webmail"? Very broadly speaking, "webmail" is just a term coined to describe a facility allowing users to read their mail online (without having to download it locally).

Are you interested in finding out about specific webmail programs such as Horde, NeoMail and SquirrelMail? These programs are often included with cPanel on an Apache hosting package.

If you give us a clue, then we can maybe give a better reply! :o)
