I m really sorry to say but these forums are damn slow!,phpbb is an inferior product(and I can saw that with confidence as I run a forum myself),I request u to go for invision or Vb,it really looks very cool ,can be skinned easily plus has intresting features like Reputation which I think can be useful here!

I dont have any problems, then again, I'm on a fast connection - and maybe a better ISP? ;)

The problem is not with ohpBB, which actually is inherently faster than vBulletin.

The problem is with the advertising banners which are relatively large downloads for dialup and I believe have to be delivered from a separate server.

The more you put on to ANY web page, the longer it takes to load.

The real irritant at WPW is having to load everything twice if you want to reply and then go back and set "Notify on replies" for that thread...
