I have tried to add a poll to my post but it does not work... after typing in my poll question and submit, it is as if I didn't add anything there.

Also, what is the Poll Option field about? There is no description or instruction for this field of entry.

Please, help!

Add option is where your choices for the answers go, and you have to click 'add option' each time until all your chioces are listed.
There will remain an empty 'add option' box after every new addition, but when you have them all listed to your liking, then hit 'submit'.

I think many of us have gone through this, at least once, trying to figure it out :O)

I must admit it's not the most intuitive interface, when you're faced with adding a poll to your post.
There are some guidelines in the FAQ section that may help.

Once you've done a couple, they do get easier, believe me! :o)
