"Watch this topic" resetting
Anyone else having this problem?
Whenever I reply to a topic, I have to go back and reset the "Watch this topic" flag...
This was an intermittent problem a few weeks ago - now, for me at least, it is consistent, as in every single time I post a reply (or even a "new topic").
I'm wondering if it's a bug in the board (sounds like a Dr. Suess story) or something on my system (like a corrupted cookie)...
Yikes! Stop me before I alliterate again!!!

I believe it is being looked into - a lot of people have noticed inconsistent 'watch' behaviour.
Have you also noticed that new messages are not flagged every time you visit?

watch this topic
Hey everyone,
Not sure why the "Watch this topic" keeps resetting, but I've had our programmer change it back, so you should be receiving the notifications again as of today.

"It's all happening again..."
Today (maybe yesterday too) the "Watch this thread" flags are again resetting for me. Each time I post, I have to go back and set it to "Watch" again...
Anyone else experiencing this?
FWIW, even when it was working before, there wa a bug - posting a message was fine, but if I noticed a spelling error or something and edited the post, it would reset to "not watched".

Livin' in a time warp
Yes minstrel, now that you mention it I have been aware of something very inconsistent going on with that. It has been in the background of my awareness last couple of days so I can't point to a specific example but I just made some post's so we will keep a sharp eye out.
One question Brittany, you always say "our programmer". I want names, dang it! LOL

I believe it's "Dan Quayle"... and his advisor's name is "Al Gore", who as we all know invented the internet. :-)
(no offense intended to the actual programmers - maintaining this software must be more of a pain than beating off blackflies with a cricket bat...)

Help me remember!
Still big problem here with the notifications, but it is because I always forget to click the "watch this topic for replies" link.
Is it possible to have it enabled by default whenever I/we post a thread or reply?
If I had one wish for Christmas, that would be it (besides world peace, I mean!)

That is the default, when it's working...

Correction: world peace AND the Miss America title...
(and by "world peace", mik, of course, means "ale")
