PHP turnkey templates - tgp with membership

After two months of (not very much) development, a programmer I had employed through a well-known freelance site has walked out of the job.

So I have no new site (which should have gone live last Sunday), but I do have loads of content, server (sitting idle) and a rapidly shrinking budget.

What I need is a tgp template turnkey website preferably with a membership section.

I've done the usual Google search and found plenty of places to get them but found that a few trials I downloaded just did not do the job.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated

TGP = thumbnail gallery post? what exactly are you looking for?

He worked on your site for 2 months and you don't even have a layout to work with?

As you seem to be a hostage to your programmer, why not go with WordPress. It's come on in leaps and bounds in functionality and with the right template offers far more than just a blogging layout - even I can use it.

I use Colorlabs - Arthemia Premium Theme. Search for it on Google (I don't post links).

Answering the questions in order:

Layout was a clone of an existing image gallery website in php and flash, plus additions.

Several direct emails received. One is particularly promising.

I have programmed HTML and ASP, but my knowledge of PHP is very limited, hence the outside programmer. If I could follow what he has done then I would complete the job.

Do not go with wordpress. Only people who have no idea on how to use php would recommend using wordpress as a cms for a website that is not a blog...

Take a look at SohoLaunch - I've used it and it has many great modules and the look and feel are easily modified with design templates.

The registration to use the gallery module is 150.00 one time fee... but worth it...even has
a built in shopping cart.

Sohalaunch is the best easy and quick way to get a neatly design webpage, but you cannot except advanced interfaces as found on custom coded sites though.

To both of you that recommended SohoLaunch - it looks excellent.

Just waiting on another programmer - this time in the UK - to discuss possibly doing the job for us at a sensible price + commission.
