Question Dreamweaver MX/PuTTY SFTP Issue

I use Dreamweaver MX, and I'm trying to connect to my SFTP server using the integrated Site Files tool (where you can see Local/Remote). However, when I try to connect to the remote site and enter the user/pass in the PuTTY SSH window, when DW tells me to hit Ok after login, it disconnects and displays an error "Unable to connect to host".

Does anyone have any resolution for this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

i think you might need a fix or something.

i had the same problem, if this is what you're talking about, i would enter my login details and the next time i started DW i had to re-enter them again...

Just to confirm, the issue is that when you are connected through Dreamweaver, if you also open a connection to the server with PuTTY SSH, you are disconnected from Dreamweaver?

If that is the case, I suspect that the issue is that your SSH server is configured to only allow one concurrent connection per authenticated user. As soon as you authenticate using another client, the prior connection is terminated. Depending on your SSH server, and the applications you are working on, the best solution would probably be to simply obtain a second login for PuTTY.
