Our web site host provides us with statistics using Summary SP Lite 2.6.2. While the system provides all sorts of information it lacks the information I want such as search phrases by search engine for specific periods.

I'm looking for an inexpensive stats program that provides good basic meaningful information. Your suggestions please.

A good free one, however, is AwStats

Google Analytics is popular, so is StatCounter.

If you're specifically interested in search engine referals, hittail (HitTail - Long Tail Keyword Marketing Tool) does a great job of that!

GA will be a good choice for you. If you need a log file analyzer, Nihuo Web Log Analyzer is my recommendation.
