Of all the things there are to know and do in Web development, which ones are absolute musts in order for a person to deserve the title "Web developer"?

This is what W3Schools.com says:
What a Web Developer has to Know

Anyone disagree with W3Schools.com, or care to add to that list? I'd add "knowledge of SEO."
