Bookmarking at Google?

Hi all,

Anybody has idea about website bookmarking at Google (www.google.com/bookmarks/)?

What is the advantage or disadvantage of these bookmarks regarding website ranking?

I think bookmarking site would only give additional traffic to your site but it doesn't help in terms of ranking.

I have not seen any Google bookmarks in the top SERPS list.
So I'm of the opinion that it will not be helpful ranking wise but traffic wise it can be a big boost.

I'm afraid none of you actually understood what the OP was asking. Perhaps you didn't follow the link? Or you are unaware of the tool the OP referenced.

Google Bookmarks is a gadget that allows you to keep track of your favorites. It has no social media value whatsoever, and no impact on SERPs. It also doesn't drive traffic. It is an entirely private gadget. Well, private between you and Google.

So there is NO value for website ranking.

I use Google bookmarks all the time.

With all due respect, I think you must be confusing social bookmarking with Google's Bookmarks.
