    Weird Problem with Wordpress Sidebars

I have added links of my social networking profile to my blog's sidebar as "Join My Network On". In mozilla when I mouse-over on any of the icon its giving the exact title of the icon, but in IE for all icons except the subscribe icon its showing "Follow me on twitter".

Please help me to resolve this problem

My blog is my first sig link.

    Thnaks & regards

Although each link has a title tag that mentions the correct service, each image (except stumbleupon) has an alt tag that says "Follow me on Twitter". This would appear to be the source of the problem. Change the alt tag text of the images to match the title tag of the link to correct it.

Firefox uses the alt tag to show an alternate piece of text if images are not loaded and shows the title tag as the hover tip. I believe this is the way the HTML standard says it should work.

Internet Explorer on the other hand uses the alt tag text for both functions and ignores the title altogether.

Simplest fix as Wige says is to make both the alt text and the title text the same.

Re: Weird Problem with Wordpress Sidebars

From time to time at automatic and wordpress self host I have seen the entire sidebar disappear. Automatic support has fixed sidebar problems or given instructions. At Wordpress self hosted blogs i have had to rebuild sidebars.

IE or Firefox had no relevance to the problem

    Thanks Wilson.

From Admin/appearance/widgets I had obviously added all my favorite widgets. But there are field for inserting URL, there are no options for adding/editing/rectifying of alt tags, or title tags. I think I need to do that at code level. But I am confused that from where I should modify this.

Please consider my less technical knowledge and help me out of this weird problem.

    Thanks & regards
