Security is a "must" in every ecommerce business. In my own personal opinion, it is better to buy secure shopping cart software than carelessly create one on my own. There are lots of good shopping cart software in the market anyways, Zencart, magento or Oscommerce. I just found this shopping cart software site, it has information about various shopping cart. I just wanna share this to you guys, might help you with information or comparison.
I have used OSCommerce within the past. i favor it as a result of I will tweak the PHP code the software's written in. Zencart is extremely similar, however there are plenty of updates.
