Hi there.
I have been analysing the Google-indexed IBLs of one of my competitors. Tracking one of these IBLs I found a single backling to the competitor website, but it was an e-mail mailto:! Does Google normally count such links?
Thank you.

i dont think so- but i am also waiting on other users feedback- good question.
What query did you use to analyse backlinks?
If 'link:', then the results are strange. If something other (lik '+www.address.com') then you simply got all pages which contain the url as a string not a link.

Thanks for the reply.
I used links, definitively. But I rechecked and cannot find this very backling any more. Perhaps some temporaly aberation.
There's been some update recently, and that's why the number of backlinks has changed.
