Why do you need Office 2003?

    Re: Windows office pack

I need office 2003 as am more comfortable in working in that. Am well introduced with its editing and other functions in word and excel. Am using the same for more than 12 hours daily in my office. I need the same for my personal laptop

2007 is bit confusing and complicated and right now i don't have much time to spend evrytime for single function.

If you can help rather then putting questions that will be great help.

    Regards,
    Senny

Well, knowing the reason you are targeting a specific version can help finding the appropriate solution. I know the learning curve of Office 2007 is pretty daunting if you are very familiar with previous versions. However, Microsoft has stopped making 2003, and is actually preparing to launch Office 2010 in the next few month, which takes the ribbon added in 2007 and integrates it even further through the suite.

I think your best bet would be to visit computer shows in your area, they tend to be a great place to pick up licensed but out of production versions of popular applications, where you can verify that the product you are purchasing is valid and licensed. Just be aware that Microsoft will likely end support for Office 2003 a few months after 2010 is released, so you may find yourself pushed to upgrade anyway. Just something to keep in mind when weighing the costs.

For me, the best Microsoft Office is the 2003 rather than 2007. When I first use the 2007 pack, it was so confusing. I am not accustomed to used it.

@vonda - I like to know more about classic menu. How to use it? Is there any full version available. I too was looking for an application like this. Thanks for your post.
