Affiliate Software

Hello,

I'm considering starting an affiliate program for my websites but am looking for *inexpensive* software. I had read (some time ago) about a few free scripts and some less expensive ones but have since "lost" the URL.

Can anyone recommend free and inexpensive solutions?

Welcome to the forums. The least expensive program that I know of interneka.com/ for 149. I can't verify how good it is, but have heard some decent feedback. You can probably find cheap or free software or scripts but do they work and will your affiliates trust it? The savvy affiliates, the ones that you really want as partners are reluctant to work with companies that don't have good, well known tracking solutions in place. I personally would not launch a program unless I could afford to go with one of the programs affiliates know and trust like myaffiliateprogram or Directtrack.

That's my 2 cents. Hopefully some affiliates will come by to give you their opinions also.

I've got a few programs that I'm looking at, and will have to spend more that I originally expected - however you are right, if your affiliates don't trust the software - you won't get any (affiliates).

I have a few affiliate program related scripts/software listed within my Webmaster Tools & Resources Directory which can be found at the bottom of this message within our sig.

Other than that I would try HotScripts as they are quite big and you might find what you are looking for.
