Any penalty for adding too many pages at once?

Hi Guys,

I just added a web application to one of my website that pulls data from the database and generates dynamic pages. Currently it's generating about 300 pages. I wanted to submit a sitemap to Google. Do I need to worry about any kind of penalties regarding this. Would Google care that a lot of content was suddenly added to the site?

Why would Google want to penalize for that for?

Google does care in certain circumstances. If what you are doing looks like spam to them, they care a great deal. Google actually captures information that tells them what content has been somewhere since when.

In other words, if you take copy from another site Google can tell that someone else had it first and therefore they will not like you very much. In fact, there are lots of things that you can do that will cause those companies not to like you very much. Funny though, most of my competition seems not to be aware of these things. Hmmm.

The practice of keeping track of when information was originally posted and by whom is just one example of the many hundreds of different 'measurements' which I have identified that are currently in use by Google and it's competitive followers which actually determine how your website will rank.

How did I figure all this this out? Well, I looked up Google's Patent and then I read it. Then I took some Advil. Then I did some research. Then I made the determinations based on what they disclose in their patent combined with what I saw happening out there.

Well generally content is not a problem but if you are doing it through a web application and not manually and also 300 pages a day on an auto basis is i think somewhat alarming.

hey google is really user friendly.. you will not be penalized for anything... it is just free for everything... their is bulk of storage capacity too...

I've taken three websites which proved to be winners with say 250 products and quickly expanded them to thousands of products without issue.

No chance of penalization, it may helps to index all the pages or some another SEO benefit for urs site

I think not, as long as the content of your web pages are not just duplicate content and looks spammy, Google will not be pissed.

I don't think you'll be penalised, although you may find that your new pages aren't indexed as quickly as you might hope.
