    www.tambassadorpress.com Digital Crafting and Design

    Hello,

I would love to hear some feedback on my site, found at www.tambassadorpress.com.

Basically, I design items like stationary, greeting cards, letterhead, business cards, gift tags, envelope seals, scrapbooking die-cuts, photos, clipart, website templates, labels and more as very affordable, downloadable files for all kinds of various poeple.

My target market is basically everyone, to children who might need an image for their school report to designers who are putting together a brochure and crafters.

I would like an overall critique about the design of the site, the content area, and the products.

Thank you in advance for all your comments!

    Regina

My only significant comment would be to remove the splash page and let the user go directly to your site.

I am wondering if the download time of your different pages may be a hinderance to anyone wanting to purchase from your site... even on dsl I am wanting for speed....

You have done a tremendous amount of work and it has some style, that is for certain. I can't help but also wonder if most of what you are offering isn't free somewhere else on the Internet.... I'm not in that line of Internet business and don't have ready access to a market analysis on that particular vertical...

    Good luck with it.

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Chris,

    Thank you for the comments!

It's true that there are a lot of free graphics out on the internet, but if you read the tiny print most of them are only for personal use. Believe me, I have looked. So, for somebody who needed a graphic for perhaps selling their product or a designer who professionally creates brochures, etc..for their customers they are going to need an image that they are able to use commercially.

As for the personal section where you can find downloadable designs of stationary, scrapbooking cut outs, labels,(holiday(birthday)(wedding)and more greeting cards, etc.. it's allows for a more affordable product than buying from a print shop who wants $500 for a large amount of custom wedding invitations. At my store, you might only spend $25.00 for the design of a wedding invitation and then pennies on the dollar for paper to print them out. Plus, there's a lot more options open to the customer(s) to choose their font and paper. It's absolutely a lot more affordable and entirely custom!

I also have items that crafters would love! I happen to love crafting myself and I was always coming up with ideas, so I put them to good use.

As for the download time, how much would you suggest I cut it down to? I tend to be a patient person and I thought it was all right, although if I changed all my images to jpegs it might cut down on the time.

Again, thanks for the time and your words of luck!
    I appreciate it!

Lots of luck to you too,

    Regina
