David Castle - Lost But Not Forgotten

    Hi guys,

Apologies if this is old news but I couldnt find any new threads about it...

I have some bad news that some of you already know, David Castle (aka CTABUK) passed away last Saturday due to an aggressive form of cancer. All reports indicate that he went quickly.

I'm sure many of you will have kind words to pass on either in this thread or on the Warrior Forum thread (http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...id-castle.html) which already has quite a few condolences.

I'm one of the moderators at Seoers.org (formally davidcastle.org) which is a UK based SEO/Online Marketing forum that David set-up some years ago. David invited me to the forum about 2 years ago after I'd become friendly with him here at WPW. In that time I've met some great new people and made some great new friends. I've also made big head way in my SEO carreer and I've met some of my best industry contacts. But mostly I've had a right old barrel of laughs!!! Which all stems from Davids initial invite...

Me and David debated (argued!) like mad over industry issues but we had many a great chat about music, which he loved more than anything. I'll never forget his many forum posts featuring HUGE exerts from his Michael Fane book. Maybe now i'll be able to find the time to actually read it! But, as is life, we are always too busy at the time and only when time has run out do we realise where our priorities should have lied.

Thanks David. You've helped me out a lot! You will be missed and I never did get that signed copy of the book!

    Lost but not forgotten.

Here are the related threads on his other big forums: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...id-castle.html and http://www.seoers.org/BB/forum-news-feedback-and-suggestion-box/david's-legacy/

I never meet the man but chatted on the seoers forum a lot and also by PM. He'll be sadly missed as will his bad jokes. Deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends at this sad time

    Very sad.

Today, a little bird flew into my window. I went outside and took it into my hands where it died.

I thought. This is a signal.

    Rest in peace David.

This is terrible news. His poor family.

Mind you, if they didn't have an online forum in Heaven before this, they will now.
