You don't need to submit your website to any search engine. Just gain backlinks, then automatically SEs will index your website.

Submitting your website to Search Engine is fine.. but that doesn't mean
that they will approve you immediately. But as what others have said
link building is still the best thing to do to let crawlers index your page
and at the same time to generate backlinks.

amazingly, some people still pay companies to submit their sites to search engines. seems to me that this is the "snake oil" of the new century.
yes, it is useless...
get links and the search engines will find you. don't get links and they will ignore you. submission doesn't matter...
