Thanks Janeth, I learn a lot from it.

(Based on your example site with massive amount and little more aggressive posts)

No offense, but my question is: Is it really interesting for "visitors"?

And question for SE's and everyone: How long will this technique works?

I've got blogs that get a lot of comments and have a lot of people that follow the articles. I’ve even gotten emails from people thinking me for some of the information on the silicone wristband blog which is a really hard topic to write about.

There is nothing black hat about the technique. Google likes fresh content and what I am telling you to do is to pick a topic and continue to give them fresh content about that topic.

If you are always putting good and fresh content online then why would the search engines have a problem with that?

You basically become the expert in that industry.

This is very interesting and sounds a bit more involved for the beginner entrepreneur.

I started a few blogs a while back and was regulary adding content but was very time consuming and have since slowed down my postings. Most of my keyword searches bring my sites up first page on google so I think that is a plus.

I'd be willing to pay writers for content but I just don't have the time to review every post and using WP requires either approving a draft (of which I receive no notification, maybe theres a plugin for that) or I give them higher access which allows access to other parts of the blog admin I'm not comfortable with (also maybe a plugin out there).

I think in my case I would need the help of someone with experience that is willing to invest some sweat equity in return for some profit sharing. It's truly a "time" thing in my case, I just don't have it, or lack the experience to be efficient with it. I honesty could only invest about an hour a day without quitting my day job.

Janeth, you did a great web design job on that silicone wristbands site!
Concerning this blog part with 20 post per day, I am not saying that it's black hat, but it looks too spammy to me, I just can't help myself. I believe it can be hard for robots to decide if it's great content or not, at least for now, it's just question of time until this method gets some flags.

My point is: Is it really quality/useful content for visitors, or it's just todays technique how to keep SE's spiders busy?

    ps: sorry for my language.

I'd say if you are unable to write content that is not spammy or useful to the reader then you should not do it.

I was asked to show an example of what I was doing and I did so with a site that meant the lest to me.

You seem to be hell bent on attacking that site and its content and that is all fine and good but as I’ve said before and will say again, I have other sites were people enjoy the updates and the content. And I have people that have enjoyed the content on that site.

The post was to show some people how to drive traffic to a site and make money with those sites. If you don’t want to use the method then that is fine.

Rather it is spammy or not would depend on how you set the site up.

Maco, blogging is a very useful tool in the SEO toolbag, and one that the SEs readily accept, provided it is relevant. Placing a link to your product pages, for instance, is not the least bit spammy, when that product is related to the blog topic. Certainly, someone can get carried away and have their blog post inundated with dozens of links, and do themselves harm, both with the SEs and with the users. However, the key is to always remember that the user experience is #1.

    • Does the blog post offer information that will be helpful or entertaining to the user?
    • Does the information to which the link takes them match up with the topic of the blog post, in such a manner as to enhance the user experience?
    • Are both the blog post and the link target relevant to the search criteria the user was expecting to see?

There are a myriad of other factors, but I think these cover your "spammy" comment. Just because there's a call for action, doesn't make a site "spammy". And linking to amplifying information or product information, doesn't make a blog "spammy" either.

All things in moderation...an excellent rule of thumb.

    Doc,
I don't think Maco was referring to linking from blog posts, which is perfectly fine and useful, but to the auto-generated mumbo jumbo in some of the posts on the home page, such as
"How canin favor ofe fundraising programs, non-proficostume jewelryNoarrangeofit fundraising is an anamountand live inional idea"
Quality posts, rather than quantity, with useful information and the odd link is of course fine....mixed with some common sense and respect for your visitors' time.

Janeth, I was just referring on your example site and expecialy if there are blog posts as Web Res and Alextj show us here.

Thank you for pointing that "Quality" + "Fresh" content will be always essence for sites.

You only show us one example site including blog, which was just mainly about that part "Fresh".

I believe you, that you have another sites where you do it in more clean and visitors friendly way.

I'd like to know where that post is on the home.

And I don't know how many times I need to say that is a site I used as an example, explain the problem with the site and what happened and say you should write quality post before you people are able to understand that.

Seems to me I wasted my time posting the information here and don’t have time to defend the site anymore than I already have.

This will be my last most on this topic and I’ll keep the rest of my information to myself or on a forum where people appreciate getting free information.
