Janeth
Fantastic information. Some of it I guess we all do already - some intuitively - but great to hear from someone who has had considerable success with it.
Will certainly be reviewing our processes to see where we can improve.
Cheers

Thanks Janeth, Great Post.
I had a look at your site, checked some posts and found many to have weird spelling and words running together. Is that because people are writting so many posts that the content is getting mixed up, or is there an auto generating process that might be a little buggy? Perhaps it is intentional, or did a writter have a bad day?
Clearly you are finding the a huge number of new posts will attract attention. I have tended to try to write less and be more relevant, but that may be a mistake.
20 post a day....
Here's an example:

BTW: the anti-Obama thing just caught my attention - I don't mean anything by selecting it for the example.

We had a guy that was writing content for the site for a little over a year now and I believe two things happened.
1. He got lazy
2. He found out the work was going unchecked and figured what the heck.
He has since been replaced and we have a new writer. I pay good money for the content and want it to be
on topic and informative.
However, just don’t have time to stand over an adults shoulder to make sure he does as he should.
I agree those are good ways but they are not the easiest. I would say paid ads and releases is the easiest way. With that said a blog is a key part of any website campaign now a days.
What a great post. I've just spent months re-building my web site and I'm bracing myself for The Next Big Push, which will be traffic building so your post couldn't have been more timely.
When you say 20 posts per day, I assume that in total, including your extra blogs, social media sites, etc. Or do you mean 20 posts a day on the primary site?
Anyway, thanks for the post.
