You say that all articles remain on the site until they are sold. That means, if you sell the good stuff, you'll just end up with a load of crap cluttering up the site!

This is a excellent idea. But if buyers can view it, it could potentially be indexed by google too. So if I buy it and use it, it would be duplicate content in Google's index and get penalized for it. How do you prevent it from happening?

And you really will have to sub the copy before it goes live. One I read is littered with spelling mistakes and typos and one article ended in mid-sentence.

Sorry for the delay in my reply. I did not visit this forum for a while, and i got no notification of any reply on this thread.

I will answer all your questions. feel free to ask me more, based on your comments and replies, i will make the necessarry changes if needed.

To answer your question.
If someone is hell bent upon stealing content and using it as their own we or you have no control over it. But if you discover that your content is plagiarized then you can report them to their host and have the article removed.

In our site, when an article is posted, we do a check for that article and make sure that there are no duplicates of it. As a buyer when you buy the article, it is in your best interest to check for duplicates of the same content.

If you find a duplicate article. Dont buy it, infact if possible report it to us if possible. As for the google indexing, once the article is sold it is removed from our site. So the website that puts up the same article will get the ranking for that keyword.

This is a website where writers can showcase their work and direct their buyers to their profile, and build their profile with every sale they make. We are just trying to make things convenient for them.

Writers have an option of showing the full content or even hide a part of it. If you are so afraid of your content being stolen, then dont put those valuable content for people to see. Hide it, or dont post it.

We will also be coming up with an option where work can be done privatly too with authors of your choice soon. In either case the author profile will be a deciding factor in knowing how good the writer is.

So as this is a new website we are not filtering on the quality of the articles, right now we are only checking for duplicates of the article.

Right now as this is a new website we welcome new original articles. we are only checking for duplicates of the article.

For the quality, you scan what you think is good quality for you and only buy those what you like.

As these are original articles, even if the article may not be in good english that you can straightaway use. But you may even use the article just for the idea or the know- how provided in it.

We have a rating system built in that will help weed out what one would consider bad articles or simply put, the ones that dont sell over time. In this rating system, it is in the writers best interest to remove the articles that dont sell, because it will pull down his rating score.

A writer will have a better rating score if most of his articles is getting sold.

Example: he will rank better if he has 10 articles sold out of 20 versus someone who has 10 sold out of 100 articles.

If you are an article buyer then over a period of time you will discover certain writers on our site who's content you like. All you have to do is subscribe for their alerts and you will be notified if that writer submits new content. This way you get alerts when quality content is posted.

So this is what is in place now. Any suggestions to improve this is always welcome.
