    quikonnex.com - RSS Publishing

Quikonnex is targeted a providing a one stop location for writers and current Ezine publishers. The main page is for the public. Publisher's have individual pages such as exampled below:

    http://quikonnex.com/channel/page/grayscales (this is a blog-like page)

http://quikonnex.com/channel/subscribe/grayscales (this is what a publisher's prospective subscriber would see)

http://quikonnex.com/channel/view/grayscales (this is the XML/RSS feed for each channel published on Quikonnex)

We're also providing individual messaging pages which link into the RSS feeds provided: http://grayscales.quikonnex.com is an example.

What we're looking for is feedback on the understandability and usability of the site.

    1st site is ok

2nd one - link "subscribe to" does not work?

3rd one - gives just your source code?

4th one - check the white text on top as it is not clear under "quick.." on top right?

clicked on all links - updates page has no text on it?

    privacy policy?

    clean site

You may want to do a RSS tutorial showing how to set it up. This examples are okay, but do not really explain the syndication concept, how easy you make the set up process, what happens when things go wrong with a feed (service and service performance).

Further, there are the "version wars" issue for people who are RSS savvy. For those less so, the issue becomes if you can really mask the complexities of dealing with feeds. You haven't really demonstrated it. Here's an idea: Ask someone in off the stree and step them through the process. In other words, show how easy it is step-by-step.

Essentially you need to explain your unique advantages.
