    Linux Mail Clients

Before I give in to my fellow classmates and agree with their choices.....

And because I know I'll get an honest, straight forward, no holds barred answer here... (thankfully!!)

I need advice on which Linux mail client is preferred and why? I'm leaning toward Mozilla but...only because the stupid book gives you fifty pages on it, and one on everything else.

What's the best choice? Why? And... am I going to play follow the leader?

The Evolution client is great with the Evolution server. Not so hot with other servers, -- Zimbra Exchange and so on.
Thunderbird is decent as is Kmail but Mozilla is the most complete, stand alone app.

Mozilla is really the best for linux, I haven't seen other than that used in corporate offices. It is smooth in its working and secured also.

I'd throw my vote in for Mozilla as well. It is the most feature rich, stable, has great support for HTML e-mails.

It is this feature of Mozilla for that it is being widely used in corporate world. Its great support for HTML emails makes it stand apart from others, even students are preferring Mozilla because its speedy and dependable.

Squirrelmail and Roundcube are webmail, not mail client. I am using Thunderbird on my Linux desktop, and it is working well.
