Google.com.au slow to index anyone with experience?

I've been working on an Australian Website the past week, and am frustrated with how incredibly slow google.com.au is to show the changes to webpage titles in it's results. Even the homepage has just shown up with changes I made on the first day today.

The site is 10 years old, and has changes made recently so the spiders should be crawling regularly

Is this normal for Australian Google ?

No I have never experienced this with my Aussie sites. How often are your pages getting crawled?

I really don't know, I've only just started working on the a week ago. google.com seems to be there every day to the home page anyway, the changes I make show up with 24 hours, but seems to get getting stuck on that home page.

Just had a look at a couple of your sites, nice looking sites.

I would advise seeking more quality 'Australian' links. Maybe even submitting to a few quality Aussie directories.
