    Identifying Quality Backlinks

Hi SEO Guru's, my thread is simple, I'm attempting to start an IBL campaign for my site but am having trouble identifying quality backlinks that I should acquire. Is there an efficient way of finding niche blog sites or keyword targeted sites that I don't know about?

I've seen SEO software that promises excellent link suggestions based on keyword, are any of these reliable, are there free tools that identify possible backlinks?

I apologize if I'm asking a rehashed question, if I am a link to a post would suit just fine as an answer. Perhaps I need a tutorial on proper search methods myself if that's the case. O.o

Search for your targeted keyword. The top 10 results you see are the most relevant and quality sites you can get links from for your targeted keyword as they already rank top 10 for it and google find's them relevant

    Re: Identifying Quality Backlinks

There are several ways to find relevant, quality inbound links for your site. Some ways take forever, others are more productive.

The thing to remember before launching yourself into a load of research is that most of the "relevant" sites you identify through painful analysis of SERP's will be competitors, sites who wont or cant link to you (wikipedia for example) and people who will not even reply if you try to get a link.

Analysis is a wonderful thing, but sometimes you have to just get on with something.

I'd suggest build support sites, and give yourself links from your support sites, that way you have control over linking words, page depth of link and all the other important SEO stuff.

Search the keyword you want to rank and check what backlinks the top 10 results have. Then try to get the same backlinks.
