One of the reason of fluctuation is because Google search becoming local prominence. Google Showing Local Results On Non-Local Queries; Google Showing Local Results even On even Non-Local Queries

Just waiting for google to settle down everything. Hope it does settle everything and bring everything back to normal.
Fluctuations always happened to me as well..In everyday my keyword rankings are increasing or decreasing..Just continue link building your site and your ranking will be back in days..
I am also seen Fluctuation daily on my site's keyword ranking in Google, It's daily goes up and down.
It is very common to see such fluctuation in a daily basis. So nothing need to be worried.
I've seen some pretty significant changes this week, the results usually settle down after a day or two though.
They do occur all the time but they wont push your site too deep, may be just 2-3 places.
