    RIP: David Carradine

Another great loss.. Carradine was one of my movie heros growing up and the main reason I got in to martial arts all those years ago.. He was a great 'working' actor that took on some great roles.. The obvious was Kung Fu, but I also loved him in Death Race and was thrilled to see him play Bill in Kill Bill..

Its a shame to see him go at just 72..

I can relate to that Kill Bill is still one of the ultimate greats. RIP

    Sigh... another great one gone.

From reading the article on People.com it almost sounds like foul play might have been involved.

May be a shame that I don't know him. I don't see so many movies. I am a reader.

I agree and was shocked to hear about this. I loved his TV shows Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and his role in the Kill Bill movies were very entertaining.

This article seems to provide more details. All I "think I know" is that he would not commit suicide. He was very happy with his wife - we saw them at ringside when watching MMA bouts on TV and he was making more movies.

Yes, Jeremy, very sad. I think my first taste of MMA was Davide Carradine's TV show after watching Bruce Lee's movies and Brandon Lee's movies. All of these greats have died way too soon.

Thank you for that link. I retweeted it.

    Re: RIP: David Carradine

I was honestly shocked to reading of David Carradine's death. I admittedly had only seen him in Kill Bill 1 & II, but was bowled over by his performance.

Whether it was suicide, foul play (or the third possiblity plastered all over the tabloids), RIP David.

I grew up watching Kwai Chang Caine weekly, and Davids later features as well. I agree he died before his time, and it is sad. The entertainment world just took another huge blow.
